American actor Matthew Fox told reporters and advertisers on Tuesday at the Lincoln Centre in New York City about the tear-jerking end of the ABC television show, ‘Lost’, as its cast affirmed how special the show has been to them.
‘Lost’ star Matthew Fox spoke on stage to tell reporters and advertisers that “every story must have an end” as he showed a video of his co-stars saying their farewells.
The actor also introduced two new television series, ‘My Generation’ and ‘No Ordinary Family’, which would replace ‘Lost’ in its time slot.
“I couldn’t have imagined it ending in such a beautiful way”, Matthew said.
His co-star, Evangeline Lilly added, “I came here as one person. I leave as another. I will be eternally grateful”.
Meanwhile, the cast of ‘The Modern Family’ comedy series pitched in to introduce some new comedies. But the only part where the crowd seemed to get excited was ‘Mr Sunshine’ with Andrea Anders (from ‘Better of Ted’), Allison Janney and Matthew Perry.
American-Canadian actor Matthew Perry was blending in with the audience and did not take the stage to say something.
The crowd included television show stars, including Canadian actress Caroline Dhavernas of ‘Wonder Falls’, and the head writer, creator and executive producer of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, Shonda Rhimes.
Overall, the new television series presented at the centre seemed promising, especially to advertisers.
